The Angelfire series was started in 2003. Monochrome Parisian blue and blue pastels form the basis for metallic graphite drawings. The work is based on the material of recycled “graphic trash.” The images are drawn on heavy handmade paper. Traditional forms of angel depictions inspire the “aspirational,” “flying” character of the series.
